Application
Injection Molding for High Cycle
Blow Molding
Cooling Roll
Temperature Control
5 to 50 degC
A High Grade System Built By Reiken Temperature Technology
For temperature controlling of higher accuracy, the evaporator has adopted
a new shell & tube system, which uses two pumps, one for circulation
and the other for the process and by the proportional controlling with
the mixing valve, the control range has been expanded to cover the 5 to
50 degC range. In addition, the heat calories are indicated on the operational
panel and the testing functions are integrated for quality stabilization.
DCN Controller has thus been developed with aims at truly ideal molding
operation.
Calorimeter Display
As the operating conditions displayed, such as
1. Set Temperature
2. Actual Temperature
3. Return Temperature
4. Flow Rate
5. Pressure Loss
6. Loaded Calories
Repeat accuracy of molding conditions is improved and the molding machine
is brought under the best control.
Normal Operation Started In One Touch.
Data Changing Is Simple And Easy With The Interactive Input System
An interactive operational panel is adopted for a greater convenience in
operation. Setting is simple and easy. Only follow the instruction displayed
on the panel. No error. Normally, the equipment is operated full automatically
by the data stored in the memory. In case of any failure, the conditions
are displayed on the panel for smooth and quick recovery of the trouble.
Control Range
By constructing the internal circulation circuit (controlled at a predetermined
temperature) and heating medium circulating circuit (controlled by mixing
valve) separately, the control range has been expanded up to 50 degC.
Proportional Control by Mixing Valve (Ampere output 4 to 20mA)
Temperature control of the heating medium used to be done before by turning
on and off the freezer, so poor accuracy of temperature control. Besides,
material fatigue by the vibration and sometimes breakage (of the freezer)
and insufficient cooling caused by the heat generated in the motor at start
(because of inadequate insulation of motor) were unavoidable. Adoption
of proportional control by the mixing valve has solved all these problems
and remarkably improved temperature accuracy.
Shell & Tube Evaporator
Conventional multiple-pipe systems have a limited quantity of circulation,
however, the adoption of a shell & tube system having characteristics
as described below for the heat conductivity required has increased the
freezer performance to the highest level.
Characteristics of Shell & Tube System
1. The heat exchanging area is 40 % greater than that of the multiple pipe
system
and as a result the heat conduction has been improved.
2. Because of a small temperature difference of control, the low temperature
zone
can also be controlled.
3. Because of little pressure loss, circulation of the heating medium with
the temperature difference of 1.5 degC for the heat
conductivity is possible.
Disadvantages of Multiple Pipe System
1. With the flow speed in pipe at 2.0 m/s or faster, erosion of pipe may
start
to cause damages, and sometimes the pipes are unrepairable.
2. Temperature difference of 4.0 degC for the heat conductivity is
the maximum limit.
